When I first opened the bottle, the scent was completely unexpected. Jasmine is my number one favorite essential oil scent, so my nose already had an expectation of what Jasmine was supposed to smell like. This did not smell like the Jasmine I was used to at all. It had a sweetness to it, and I kept asking myself, “What is that?” unable to put my finger on it. Then I remembered this isn’t the same Jasmine I’m accustomed to. It’s night-blooming Jasmine, and I had never smelled this version before. So initially, I was actually disappointed in the scent because my nose was expecting the Jasmine I already knew and loved. I applied it and didn’t like how it smelled on my skin either. But this was really just me not being used to this particular Jasmine. Then the next day came, and I had a thought: try it again. When I sat down to smell it again, all of a sudden I started appreciating the scent and the sweetness of the Jasmine completely differently. It was as if my eyes had finally been awakened to the beauty of this particular Jasmine. It started to give grown woman sophisticated, with a power of her own. Unique character, in a class of her own. A scent that can’t be duplicated or replicated. I applied it to my wrists, shoulders, and neck, and I literally could not stop smelling myself. You know how you go to give yourself a kiss on the shoulder? Well, I just kept smelling myself, and each time I smelled it, it was as if she Jasmine was using her index finger, motioning me to come closer and closer, luring me in. I completely fell in love the second time around. Fragrance is an art of appreciation, and this fragrance reminded me of that. Sometimes a scent doesn’t reveal its beauty to you immediately. Sometimes you have to experience it again and allow it to speak to you differently. I truly appreciate the essence that was captured in this Jasmine and can’t wait to try others to see what they speak to me....

A lovely scent and it is gentle-not overpowering. The sillage and projection are low for which I am Most grateful. I prefer a scent to be subtly present and this is very satifying- used in devotional practices and as a body scent.
